Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My little first graders love to be rewarded for their hard work and behavior. My goal is to give my students rewards and surprises that encourages them to keep learning. Rewards encourage good classroom behavior and shows appreciation for hard work. I am requesting Smencils, snacks, erasers, small trinkets and a rolling cart to act as our treasure chest. My students will be able to choose from the treasure chest as rewards when they have finished a task or have shown kindness in the classroom. Our school follows the PBIS Reward System, and my students earn points for good behavior and when they go shopping, they can cash in those points for an item in the treasure chest.
