My Students
Science is fun but it is sometimes a challenge to grasp and learn about certain topics.
I have 20, bright eyed and eager to learn students in my classroom.
I love when their faces light up when I say that we are going to be learning about something new in science. It is one of their favorite things to learn about. I have a variety of topics that we discuss and it is a lot easier to talk about when they can interact with technology in a game format.
My Project
I am requesting several math games to use with the Now board, smart board technology. I am also requesting a big screen microscope and prepared specimens so that we can dig deeper into the world of science. I want my students to experience the world of science in a variety of ways.
It is very important to me to teach my children that science is interesting and can be fun.
I want them to leave first grade remembering that science is all around them and I want them to embrace that!
