Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The thing I love about my students is that each student is unique individuals. As a result, each student has their own style of learning and working. For example, I have some students that prefer to work in whole class settings while others students prefer and benefit more from working within small groups. However, I also have students that thrive in mastering their skills individually.
With all of this in mind, the materials I selected will allow learning to be either in whole class, small groups, or individual environments.
I will create areas around the classroom where students can work in smalls groups or individually. For example, the dry erase markers and boards will be utilize in small groups during math lessons for students to master the skills as a group. Lastly, the books and cushions will provide another place for students to master their reading comprehension individually or in groups.
