Help me allow my students to read some of this year's Sequoyah Book nominees and visit the StarBOOKS Cafe. Students will be introduced to this year's nominees in the Cafe and enjoy a treat.
Students and teachers in grades 3-5 will have access to the books in this project to read as a class or as individuals. Each course in these grades will also visit the "StarBOOKs Cafe," located in the Reading intervention room, to learn about the Sequoyah Book nominees for the 2023 school year. I hope that by introducing all of the book titles and providing access to a few as a class set, more students will participate in our yearly Sequoyah Book challenge. The expectation is that by inviting students to visit the "Cafe" for a small treat and a synopsis of each book, each student will be encouraged to check more Sequoyah Books out to read and enjoy.
