My Project
I am Ms. Miller, but most of my kids call me Ms. Jenna. I teach Dance to 7th-12th grade students. Since I teach an elective class, students can schedule my class every year if it fits into their schedule. Because of that, my kids and I have built a family vibe in my class. My kids and I work together to create choreography, props/sets, social media advertisements, and more. Through this process, they learn responsibility, time management, and organizational skills. Allowing my kids to be involved in all aspects of planning a recital/production, they develop pride in their work and are more committed to making the performance great.
Having a color printer in the dance room would allow students working on social media advertisements to complete their project themselves and see the finished product.
Since there are only 2-3 color printers on campus, they rarely get the opportunity to complete a digital project from start to finish. The other items will allow students to make the props they have worked hard to design come to life.
