My class is composed of 50 bright students who are eager to learn. We are a Title I, inner-city school, and 90% of the students receive free or reduced-price priced lunch. Despite their desire to learn, they are often faced with obstacles when it comes to financial support. Common school supplies such as folders, crayons, pencils, etc. are sometimes hard to come by. Even working with the bare minimum, my students come to school with their best foot forward and an open mind, ready to learn.
My Project
The products that I selected will be mailed to each of my students’ homes. This will give them the opportunity to eliminate distractions while trying to learn at home. The headphones will provide my students will a more class like atmosphere, right within their homes. The headphones will provide clear audio and enhance the volume of the students’ voices while participating in the class by using the microphone. While wearing the headphones, the students’ focus will increase and elevate the likelihood of the students’ understanding of the material being covered.
