My Project
My students need a class set of headphones to be able to listen to educational videos, audio teacher feedback, Nearpods, and much more.
In this world of 21st century learners it is important to provide them with the electronic tools they need to focus, study, and learn.
In my classroom during workshop time students are all working on different assignments and projects. Some students like to wear headphones just to block out noise in the classroom. The gift of a nice classroom set of headphone will help my students in many ways.
I am also requesting a green chair. Students, especially in elementary school, love to be recognized on their birthdays. This green chair will be our classroom birthday chair! The student celebrating their birthday will be able to sit in the chair all day. This chair is perfect because it has wheels, which will make the student feel special, and it also does not have arms so the chair should tuck under the desk perfectly and not be a distraction to learning.
I have also requested a classroom set of fidget toys. I am hoping to get these for the first day of school. School can be very anxiety inducing for many students. I am hoping to start the year off recognizing and validating the students with anxieties. I want to let them know I am here for them and that learning can happen even with anxieties.
