My kindergarten class is made up of 25 bright and energetic 5 year olds. 85% of the students in our school are eligible for free lunch and Title one funding.
We have a working computer in the class but it does not have speakers. Kindergarteners rely on verbal instructions to play most of the educational games available. Without sound they rarely get to use the computer in the room.
The speakers and head phones will allow the students to use the computer on a daily basis. Using the computer not only builds computer literacy, but it also helps develop math and reading skills.
Your help will ensure my students will be able to use the computer daily in reading, math,science and social studies.
