My Project

One of the big goals I have every year is to build a love of reading for each of my students. While I often give out book recommendations, I thought having the current 7th graders create a list of books they recommend would be even more helpful! The students reflected on books they've read and came up with a great list of books that they felt were ones other seventh graders should read.

Having a list of book recommendations from this year's 7th graders is great, but we also need to have the books in our classroom library that are easy to access!

That's where this project comes in. Each of these books (or series) was recommended by one of my current students, so that next year's students have student-selected recommendations to help them find their next great read!
