The Weighted stuffed animals promote social-emotional development by providing deep pressure stimulation, which mimics a comforting hug, triggering the release of calming neurotransmitters and fostering a sense of security, relaxation, and self-regulation. A doctor set is beneficial for social-emotional development because it allows children to engage in dramatic play, which fosters empathy, compassion, and social skills through role-playing and interacting with others in a safe, controlled environment. The play play for the fake food, with pretend tools, fosters social-emotional development by encouraging sharing, turn-taking, and cooperation. Classroom calming kits are beneficial for social-emotional development because they provide students with tools and strategies to manage emotions, regulate their bodies, and develop self-awareness, ultimately fostering a more positive and supportive learning environment. The whisper phones are a unique communication tool designed to help children develop communication, personal, and social skills.
I want to be able to developing specific skills like self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, or conflict resolution, or on building positive relationships and promoting responsible decision-making.
This social emotional learning makes my students special by being able to comprehend their emotions, to feel those emotions fully, and demonstrate empathy for others when sometimes they are not able to so being able to find a resource that can help my students is important to me.
