My Project

In this program that makes a large impact on education, we are excited to submit this proposal for the specific items that we are requesting. It will make a difference in learning in five ways.

The classroom of Lifetime Activities encourages the mental and physical stimulation of middle schoolers which will ultimately improve their ability to focus on academics, as well as improve and promote their social development in a fun, but competitive learning environment

This project will benefit the classrooms of a combined total of over two hundred students. They will experience the benefit of physical activity supporting their mental well being; thus impacting academic performance. The goals are;

to freely explore the ways that exercise can enhance student lifestyles through leisure and competitive non-gym related activities. We want students to understand the rule and concepts of sports to gain an advantage when competing, but also understand how to socially integrate with a new sport and its social environment.

Students will understand sportsmanship and how character choices and actions can affect other people through good or bad sportsmanship

What makes my students special in this post Covid world we live in, is that while it is technology driven and stimuli can be overwhelming, they have a resilience which once it is harnessed and leveraged properly, can be a driving force in their everyday participation. This “Social Flip with the Nintendo Switch” will impact their mental, emotional and psychological growth directly, while impacting their academic achievements in a positive way indirectly.
