The Sky Lords: Engaging STEM with Drones

My Project

Drones (or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) are one of the fastest growing industries in both the private sector and government. I am requesting 10 beginners' level SP350 drones to use as a classroom set. I was introduced to these during an Oklahoma State University and Department of Defense STEM workshop.

Drones introduce STEM to students and cover many Oklahoma Academic Standards in a fun and engaging manner.

These activities reach all students and are differentiated for learners of all levels. We are a Seving Military Families school. In a district with a high poverty level, this may be the only opportunity for students to participate and learn about drones and new careers.
