This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

When you are one of our students, you are part of the family. Our school has a tradition of pride and excellence, as well as a tight-knit community. Our students love to participate in learning opportunities of all kinds, athletics, clubs and reading experiences that deepen their knowledge and connect them with others, their community, and with history.

My Project

This project is to fill the needs of our tennis team with equipment such as balls, and grips and a few items we have been needing for years now. This equipment will help us reach the goal of having the necessary equipment to have weekly practices. We have no court, so we use the few equipment items we have and practice at the local park. Much of the equipment that the team does have is in great need of replenishment. We have requested items that we will use on a near daily basis and in our games and tournaments.
