My Project
I am seeking support to complete professional training through Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction (EBLI) in the 2025-26 school year. This program is grounded in the science of reading, and it dramatically improves reading, writing, and spelling outcomes for all students. This program is a year-long support, and it provides training, coaching, videos, and training modules that I use alongside my lesson plans to be the most effective literacy teacher possible. I've successfully used this program for two years, and the literacy rates at our school have started to significantly increase. My hope is to continue our school's momentum in improving student reading levels and continue to grow as an educator. And most importantly, my goal is to help close the literacy gap in my community by implementing practices aligned with the Science of Reading.
Reading is a social justice issue.
Every child deserves the support they need to become a fluent and effective reader. This training is what I need to provide support to the students at my school. Thank you.
