My students are in kindergarten and attend a public school in a high poverty area. They come to school with high hopes of learning new and interesting things.
The kindergarten experience will open doors for my students.
The time to prepare is now so my students will have all they need in order to succeed in their learning experience. These students come from an area that lacks a lot of resources so I am trying to make this environment welcoming and pleasant.
Now more then ever your help is needed to ensure that learning takes place. With your help, I will be able to provide for my students all they need this new school year.
My Project
Young students need so many things when school starts. They require the right tools so their first experiences promote learning that last a life time.
This is where the right tools come into play.
The pencils picked make it easier to grip and promote the right way to hold a pencil. This will help them form letters and numbers. The dry erase makers will be used when they write on white boards during math lessons and when using math templates. The color pencils will be used in phonics for underlining, in math when they need to color objects and when they are drawing an illustration when responding to literature.
