My Project
In my new library we have an excellent space to promote learning, but lack the tools necessary to utilize a makerspace and engage in storytelling. It is a Title 1 school full of bright, kind kids who deserve hands-on learning experiences.
Providing basic supplies such as scissors and markers will allow the students to express their creativity and engage in their learning at a higher level.
While this is just a start, it is a necessary beginning to provide the basics that my students need. You don't realize how many projects need basic materials such as markers until you don't have them.
