This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Classroom technology is meant to be used by the students but without the right tools, it can be accidentally broken.
I teach a fantastic group of creative and inquisitive eighth graders, that love to get involved in multimedia projects.
They are engaged by the process of researching, designing, creating, and evaluating creative products. These activities also help students develop collaborative skills.
My Project
We have a great classroom with wonderful technology. Students use our iPad and iRig microphone to record podcasts. Students also use our iMac, HD camera, and directional microphone to record movies. However, these microphones are not very strong and will probably end up breaking if not placed on stands.
Getting these microphone stands and headphones will greatly increase the chance for many students to use these great tools for many years to come.
