Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in California. This year I have twenty-five students. My students are English learners. The beginning of the year is always exciting! You meet all kind of personalities.

This year the online teaching has become quite an experience.

Many of my students are in great need of goody bags with the essentials, which I would provide in my class and have access and a place for.

Our school goes up to 6th grade. My kindergarten parents have accommodated to my schedule. Most of my students have siblings and should have quality headphones. With 25 youngsters this year it has been a new life experience. With the pandemic is a lot tougher but my parents are doing incredible.

My Project

My students are learning from home with the school computer. Our district provided headphones for each student and while they are great for class and I could monitor the care of them, when in the classroom, this year with the pandemic is quite impossible. Most of my kinder scholars have siblings at home and it becomes quite a challenge for them to focus on what I am asking of them to do. With quality headphones it would be very efficient for my little scholars to focus and learn new skills.

With quality headphones the little scholars will have a better chance to work and listen.
