My Students
My wonderful 4th-grade students come from very diverse backgrounds. The one thing they have in common is their joy for learning. They are eager to learn and look for ways to stay engaged. My students are curious about the world and want to learn more.
My students face many challenges while learning from home.
They need hands on math and reading activities to help them grow. There are so many different learning styles. It is important to support all of these in an effort to reach those struggling students.
My Project
My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in math. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interests of my students. Students in my classroom like to use hands-on tools even when learning from home. My classroom needs protractors for student use to measure angles. I need the document camera to model how to use one while teaching online.
Students love to use math tools but need to be shown the proper way to use them.
Students who have a math tool, such as a protractor, of their own to use will experience more enjoyment! Helping students begin to learn that math is fun is perfect way to build better mathematicians. Protractors and a document camera are a gateway to better math skills for reluctant students. My students will love getting their hands on these protractors.
