My students need Read & Relax Book Station to assist them with independent skills. All-In-One Kitchen to teach them social skills.A Round Table for writing skills.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom consist of students with disabilities ranging from
Intellectual disabilities, OHI, Autism, and Epilepsy.
Our school
is a low income disadvantaged Title l school.
Our school was impacted by Hurricane Harvey. We were displaced to another school. The teachers, administrators, students, and staff are very thankful to have a place to go and continue the learning process. Despite the challenges that we face our students continually smile and give us 100% everytime.
We continue to strive for the best.
My Project
These materials will inspire students to obtain a deeper knowledge of what they are learning. The materials will keep them engaged and develop self confidence.
We plan to use the Read and Relax book station to promote independent reading Communication with their peers and adults
will have a positive effect on their work. The All In One Kitchen will connect them to
stimulated real life issues. The round table and teachers chair will invigorate our learning environment and maximize understanding sparking students desire to explore, investigate, and understand the school curriculum.
We are preparing our students to survive in the real world. The materials will give our students the fundamental skills they need in order to be successful in school.
