Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm seeking support to transform our classroom into a more welcoming and engaging learning environment for our students. This project includes two carpets and a comfortable chair that will enhance both whole-group instruction and our classroom library.
The larger carpet will serve as a central gathering place where students come together for lessons, discussions, and community-building activities.
It provides a defined, comfortable space that helps foster focus and collaboration during whole-group learning.
The second, smaller carpet will anchor our classroom library, creating a warm, inviting nook where students can immerse themselves in books. Paired with a cozy chair, this reading space will encourage independent reading, foster a love for literature, and give students a quiet corner to explore their imaginations.
