Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Working with Special Needs children and their families is a passion that I have. I would like to make things easier for students and their families to get what they need in the color that makes sense to them. Sometimes just printing something in color can make a big difference in getting that information out.

I need to be able to put out what I create, and a quality color printer can do just that.

Life would be boring and not noticed if it were not in color. I feel the same thing goes when sharing information. Students need access to their school resources in a way that keeps them engaged and also an easier way to learn. I have not heard of one person that reads something in black and white and say that it was the most interesting thing they have ever read or even learned, unless you are like me and just love to read books. Most of my students will not get the chance to read novels but they can look at printed pictures and listen to a story and get the same experience as I would reading a basic black and white book without pictures. I want to create that world for them.

I also would like to be able to send the most up to date and important information & resources to parents. Parents get bombarded with information from emails, regular mail, and so may forms getting sent home to them. I want to be able to send home something that catches their eye and makes them want to read what I sent. A splash of color can do just that!

My goal with these items is to continue to create these memories for a lifetime and I can't do it without your help!
