My students need a classroom printer with toner cartridges to display their colorful work and create classroom materials. The ink I am requesting will enable my students to exhibit their printed work.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work in an elementary school in the Bronx with a large immigrant population. Many of my students just moved to America and have limited proficiency in English and their first language. My students come from all around the world and bring with them their rich cultural backgrounds. Our school system is very foreign to them and these students need your support. Please help my students receive the tools they need to be successful in our classroom and our country.
My Project
Not only are these kids learning to write, but they are also learning to translate their writing onto the computer, and draft essays in Microsoft Word. The ability to print this work right in the classroom- in color- will excite the students and give them a sense of pride and ownership over their work. Additionally, I will be able to create differentiated materials to meet each of my students' needs, and create colorful and joyful classroom materials to make learning fun. Your donations to this project will help prepare some very deserving third graders for a bright and tech-savvy future!
