The Preservation Project: Empowering Sustainable Food Leaders

My Project

I aspire to teach my high school culinary students the art of canning and dehydrating foods to promote sustainability, reduce food waste, and preserve seasonal produce. This project fosters essential skills, supports local food systems, and encourages environmentally conscious practices.

Project Goals

2. Reduce food waste by utilizing seasonal, locally sourced produce.

3. Promote community engagement and support local food systems.

4. Foster entrepreneurship and innovation in sustainable food practices.
