My students need interval timers in order to learn how to self-monitor their behavior.

My Students
Our students are learning to modify their behaviors that may prevent them from being a part of their community in the future.
The students that would benefit from your help have disabilities that require significant support from those around them.
Our school is very inclusive, adults and students alike. The students attend general education for the majority of their day. This allows all students to practice and generalize their skills.
My Project
The interval timers can be worn privately and will be used to help students remember to perform target behaviors. Students will be assigned a target behavior and the timer will be a silent reminder to them that they are working on their target behavior without the prompt of a adult. Adult prompting limits student's social interactions and causes frustration.
Interval timers would give our students further independence.
Having the ability to self-monitor and improve social behaviors will enhance our students quality of life and their future in immeasurable ways.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
