Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach amazing students diagnosed with Autism in a special education classroom. This is a unique program that has both a Special Education Teacher and Speech Language Pathologist as co-teachers. This program in the public school system allows my students to learn in a classroom model that is typically only available in private special education schools.
My students need materials to help them achieve their reading goals.
The Word Family Flip books, Twist and Turn 3 Letter Word Builder and Letter Crayon Word Building Center will help provide a fun and interactive way to target phonic skills. I want to provide my students with a comprehensive and well rounded approach to reading that includes phonics. Please help my students in their journey to become life-long readers.
