Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting the Epson EcoTank ET-2980 Wireless All-in-One Printer for my special education department. This printer is a game-changer for our department because it uses a cartridge-free "Supertank" system, which means it comes with enough ink to last for up to two years. This incredible feature will save our department from the constant cycle of running out of ink and purchasing expensive cartridges, ensuring that all our special education teachers and students have the resources they need, when they need them.

With this new printer, we will have the flexibility to create and print a vast array of high-quality, customized materials that are essential for differentiated instruction.

It will allow us to create personalized visual aids and communication boards. Many of our students benefit from visual supports, and this printer will help us to produce vibrant, clear, and durable materials on demand.

We will use the printer to print differentiated worksheets and learning packets. Teachers can easily create and print materials tailored to individual student needs, ensuring every student is engaged and supported at their own level. It will also be used to produce colorful social stories and PECS. These essential tools for communication and social-emotional learning can be created and updated quickly and efficiently.

Lastly, a printer will enable us to generate data tracking sheets and progress monitoring tools. Having a reliable printer will ensure that our teachers can stay on top of data collection, a critical component of IEP goals and progress tracking.

A dependable printer for our department will ensure that our lessons are never interrupted, and our teachers can focus their time and energy on what matters most: our students. It will give our entire special education community the tools they need to be successful.

Thank you for considering my project and your commitment to supporting students and teachers with special needs.
