This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school in which most of the students come from low-socio economic backgrounds. My class is composed of enthusiastic, hard working, and talented students.
They are always eager to learn and share their knowledge using various forms of media.
My Project
My students enjoy writing and creating Google Slides with vivid images and colorful fonts. The OfficeJet wireless printer will allow them to publish their work in color.
By printing in color, it will help to support and improve student learning.
They will be able to color code their writing based on organization, vocabulary usage, and text based evidence responses. Furthermore, they will be able to display their writing and other projects throughout the classroom. This will give them a sense of ownership and pride in their work.
Using new and advanced technology in the classroom will help them improve 21st century skills and allow them to create, collaborate, and communicate their ideas by using different digital tools and publishing their product using color.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
