This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Games are an excellent way for students to develop social skills in a fun and engaging environment. Through play, children learn to navigate social interactions, build relationships, and develop critical life skills like communication, empathy, and cooperation.

Play is an essential part of childhood that significantly contributes to the development of social skills by encouraging interaction, collaboration, and healthy competition.

Playing games provides opportunities for students to practice verbal and nonverbal communication, as well as cooperation and problem-solving. They also promote patience and turn-taking. The requested number cubes, playing cards, and board games are a powerful tool for my student's social development. The weighted stuffed animal will provide comfort and emotional support for students who feel disappointed after losing a game.
