This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work in a school in a culturally diverse neighborhood. My students speak multiple different languages including Mandarin, Spanish, French, Urdu, Arabic among many others. I would love to be able to communicate with my students and their family without using a human translator. My students are smart and inquisitive and deserve all the support that I can possibly give them. We are a school that cares and most of the staff is from the neighborhood, so we feel a great connection to the children, families and community. This translator device with over 75 different languages will allow me to make a difference in interacting with families.
