it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Why?
The purpose of this is to provide versatile adhesives (hot glue, gluesticks, etc) to my art students to use their creativity despite our limited resources and lack thereof budget.
Demographic Info
My classroom is small and services all grade levels in a very crowded room meant to house core subject originally. My population is 15-20% homeless and is a title 1 school and D rated campus. We do our best, but lost so much funding with my 160 students my budget is barely above $1000. My students come close to 90% emergent bilinguals and there is a mix of learning levels from sped, regular, gifted, and early college programs.
Expecting more students next year since we lost dance and choir and theater has a low enrollment interest.
