Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, every child deserves a voice, a seat at the table, and the tools to thrive. AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices aren't just technology- they're bridges to connection, confidence, and communication for amazing students who speak in unique and beautiful ways. Adaptive furniture isn't just seating- it's support, comfort, and access, making sure every child can learn, move, and grow with dignity. With these resources, our classroom becomes a place where all students feel seen, heard, and empowered to reach their highest potential- one smile, one word, one milestone at a time.
The Cozy Cube is a great way for children to feel safe when they are feeling dysregulated or working through big feelings.
The push-button AAC devices will be a supportive mode of communication development for students who need multiple ways to communicate. These will give them the ability to participate in routines and transitions, literacy activities, and express wants and needs.
