My Project
I teach an amazing group of self-contained students with moderate to severe disabilities. Unfortunately, we are very limited on what and how much we can print in color. It is extremely important for my students to have adapted books and visual aids printed in color.
My students deserve to have their materials and visual aids printed in color since we do not receive printed copies of any of our curriculum and we make all of our supplemental resources.
I will use the printer to continue to adapt materials for my students but to also create new ones. I will be able to make even better visual schedules, token reward boards, and other visual aids that they need. The paper will be used to put into the printer since copy paper is, at times, hard to come by in schools. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will be used to buy more adapted materials and visual aids that are already prepared and ready to print. All of these items will be used to better my students' academic journey while in my class!
