My Project

I strive to bring high-interest books to my kindergarten students. My students need to be exposed to diverse books. I am requesting a variety of multicultural books so that I could expand the books I have available for the classroom library and even send them home with my English language learners and newcomers. My kids love story time more than any other part of the school day. They beg me to read more books to them!

I want my students to see that they are readers.

They will learn key skills as I bring these amazing books to our class. It is so important for my students to see themselves in the books they see in our classroom. I remember the power of reading books as an English language learner myself. Thank you for your support!
