This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our girls sometimes struggle to have the appropriate products for feminine use while at school. These donations would be greatly appreciated by all of the girls at my school.

Filling our period care closet for our girls will help to take care of mishaps as well as help keep them in the classroom if these needs can be met by the school nurse instead of being sent home.

These donations will help to give our girls a more equitable education as well as tackle period poverty. Health and education go hand in hand. Giving girls the freedom to know there is no need to be worried if they will have access to these needs while away from home.
