it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." - Benjamin Franklin
I teach a group of sweet, generous, and kind-hearted students.
They are in first grade in a Title I school, and many of our students have economic and linguistic challenges.
My students love to learn, be active, and work hard. The students always come to class with smiles on their faces and a ready-to-learn attitude. The students in my class never give up and always try their best. I strive to give them the best educational experience a school can offer.
My Project
My students love Play-Doh! When I pull out the Play-Doh I have in the classroom to work on letter formation, they are so excited. There was a desire from many students to have more Play-Doh to use during our exploration time.
I would like additional Play-Doh to enhance fine motor acuity, dexterity, and creativity.
They can use Play-Doh to develop cardinality skills engagingly. With the limited amount of Play-Doh we had, I always had to be so conservative in distributing it to my students. Play-Doh could be really fun for my students. Will you help me get some?
