My Project

The Outsiders is about a group of kids that struggle with fitting in and making decisions that won’t negatively affect the rest of their lives. I teach 8th graders and we work on these same things all year long. Every year the 8th graders read The Outsiders at our school and their copies are falling apart. They look forward to The Outsiders for their whole middle school career. I love how much discussion happens when we read The Outsiders. I would love to replace the class set for my students!
