This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love my students! My students are the reason why I love teaching. They walk into our classroom every single day with smiles on their faces. They are always eager to start the day. I always ask them, "Who is the best class?" and they reply, "We are!"

I have always let them know that I believe they are capable of doing anything they want.

Despite so many hardships, my students come to class every day and are eager to learn and do their best.

My Project

I am getting ready to teach third grade self contained for the first time. This will be my 3rd year teaching and have realized that being organized is essential for the teacher and students.

Last school year, we started school a little late because of Hurricane Harvey and ended not concentrating on the organizational part of teaching.

We all went through a tough time with Harvey but there is nothing stopping us from being successful.

Rackarster Mesh Desktop Office Organizer 3-Tier Stackable Desk Paper Organizer will be used to keep track of the students' homework, tardy slips, nurse's slips, and permission slips brought back.

AmazonBasics and Pendaflex Hanging File Folders will be used to keep track of rti folders, graded work needed to be returned to students on Fridays, and for copies of work given each day so that absent students can catch up.

STERILITE 16249006 Medium Ultra Baskets will be used to organize books.

TYH Supplies Box of 1000 Economy 11 Hole Non Glare Matte Top loading Poly Office Page Sheet Protectors will be used to organize papers on the TEKS binders.

The 3-Ring View Binder w/2-Pockets will be used to organize all the TEKS for each subject.

I will be prepared and organized to rock 3rd grade! Thank you in advance for your support.
