This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class gains incredible knowledge from studying individual novels. As we delve into them, we learn so much more than reading and grammar skills, we learn life lessons through the characters we get to know in our books. I've chosen our next novel to be The One and Only Ivan. This is a beautiful story of determination, courage, hope and friendship. It will also be fun for our animal lovers in class! I hope you can help us buy a class set, so that each student can read from a physical copy of the novel. Thank you!
