My Project
My students are a mixture of Brooklyn natives and recent immigrants to the country. Together, they are the heart of our small school. They work super hard, are eager and excited to learn. While my students come from diverse backgrounds there are many commonalities that bring them together. They truly strive to educate themselves and become better people for this world.
My students are truly amazing people that inspire me to become a better teacher everyday.
I am thankful for them each day and they truly make this world a better place.
They truly deserve access to technology that will bring the world to their hands in the classroom. The Oculus technology will allow me to differentiate instruction and allow for our classroom to come to life. When we learn about Ancient Egypt, the Middle Ages or World War Two I will be able to bring the sites and sounds of history to the classroom through Oculus virtual reality.
