The Night Before Kindergarten

My Project

I have one of the best jobs! Each year, I get to experience my students' first time in a "big school." A week before the first day, our school has an orientation for incoming kindergarten families to meet their teacher. I hope to make this event one of the many positive memories the students will remember about kindergarten!

With your help, I would like to provide each student a copy of the book, "The Night Before Kindergarten." The book would be given to each student on orientation night, along with a poem and some glitter, students would sprinkle under their pillow to help them sleep well before their first day in kindergarten.

"The Night Before Kindergarten" explores all the emotions that come with starting a new adventure. Coming to kindergarten is a significant milestone, and I want to help ease the transition for both parents and my students as much as possible.
