My Project
The 3D printer and filament that I am requesting for my students, will teach them through the latest advancements in technology. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of 3D printing and creating in 3D design. Students will begin by creating a written plan. The plan starts as a 2D design. Then, by using a 3D platform online to transpose 2D into 3D form. Finally, students will use problem solving to transfer their design to the 3D printer. Last students will print their creation with a 3D printer. This is a 21st century skill. Students are being equipped to become the next engineer, architect or designer. By donating to this project, you will not only help to improve and increase student knowledge and creativity, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement that relates directly to the professional work force.
