My Students
The students in my class are curious and eager-to-learn young individuals. Majority of my students are English language learners, and about a third of my class consists of students with various special needs or disabilities, such as learning disability, autism, and speech or language impairment.
To provide best instruction and meet my students at their present level of performance I often need to incorporate lots of visuals, hands-on activities, and various management tools.
Each student in my classroom is a unique learner; together, however, my students make up a great group of young learners who, I hope, would continue their learning journey and grow up to be well-rounded individuals.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting will benefit the entire class. Students who benefit from having information of the lesson presented visually would find it useful if it is written on the tabletop dry erase boards. Also, students who need to stay on task would benefit from visual timers to help them stay on track and complete their assignments.
Additionally, the entire student population in my class will benefit from arts and crafts supplies, such as washable paints, paintbrushes, large construction paper, and glue, to engage in hands-on and art activities to support what we are learning in class.
