My Students

My class is an amazing bunch! Our school is a Title I school that serves students who come from a diverse set of backgrounds, experiences, and a low-income school district. My students are faced with several daily challenges in and out of the classroom. The students in my classroom are full of energy and very enthusiastic about learning. Pre-K is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals.

In this class, we build a community around what we have in common and our shared experiences.My goal to help students be successful emotionally and academically.

My Project

My students need new durable colorful mats for nap time. Each student needs their own clean, new mat. The mats they currently have are very worn and some of them are torn.

Nap time is such an important time for them to rest their minds and their bodies after a long day of fun-filled exploring.

With these clean, new mats, I believe that my students will have more comfortable and relaxing naps. Having a comfortable nap will help them to wake up nice and refreshed to continue their fun-filled days of learning. Also, these new mats will make it comfortable to rest their minds and their bodies.
