The Most Prepared Band in the Land

Help me give my students that play woodwind instruments important tools for their instruments. These tools will help school instruments last longer because repairs can be made in class and some of these materials are hard to destroy.

My Project

These items will last for a very long time! The items I am asking for here are specific to woodwind instruments (flute, clarinet and saxophones) and will hopefully last longer than what they have now. These items are mostly ligatures, which hold the reed to the mouthpiece.

These materials will help make sure their instruments last for a very long time!

What that means is, if they step on their ligatures accidently, it doesn't lose its shape because it is leather. The ligatures that come with their instruments are made of metal and if they are stepped on, they are useless and cannot be reshaped.

The cork is for clarinets and saxophones. This cork helps to seal the joints when they are connected.

These items will help keep these classroom instruments up and running for a long time! Repairs are quite expensive, and if I can fix some of these things myself, I can cut down on asking students to foot the bill. And therefore, keep more students coming back!
