My students are some of the most enthusiastic and amazing kids! I work with Kindergarten up to third graders and I couldn't be more blessed to be able to teach and also learn from them! I want to be able to have all the resources to teach them English and Literature Arts to the best of my abilities.
Whether it's making their own books to read to their parents or writing scripts based off books we've read and performing in front of the class, my students love new, innovative and cool ways of learning.
The spirit at my school and of my students, their eagerness to learn and work hard is contagious and I truly love working and being their teacher.
My Project
In my classroom, we are a family. In order for my students need to feel like they can take risks and be themselves, I want to create a comfortable and resourceful environment. I am hoping to use the furniture and books in my classroom reading classroom that will trigger that creativity and their minds to becoming even better readers as well as create a welcoming and comfortable learning space. The books I've requested are great books that I believe my students would enjoy to read, as well as relate to. The rugs and furniture are for the reading stations where my students would go to work more in depth on literacy content such as vocabulary or phonics.
By having literacy stations, my students will begin to see themselves as competent sense makers and confident readers as they work on the different components of literature.
We could really use these materials to aide us in the process of becoming the best readers we can be and with your help we can together make this possible!
