My students need books on CD to listen and read along to, a sturdy book shelf, and a pocket chart stand -- all to help enrich their literacy center experiences!
It's all about literacy and my goal is to make sure that my students are reading and more importantly, LOVING doing it! The best way to do this is to make sure that they are engaged in their literacy centers at all time!
My students are young, energetic, and eager to learn!
They attend a charter school in Philadelphia. Their excitement for learning is something that I hope never goes away. They deserve any and all opportunities and it is my mission to make sure they receive them!
My Project
With books on CD, my students will have the opportunity to read along and point to the words while they develop their reading skills. Students will be able to complete pocket chart activities with their new pocket chart stand and they will also enjoy reading in a safe library center with a sturdy bookstand!
Donations will make a such a difference to my students.
The materials will be great additions to my classroom and will help my students develop a love of reading that they will take with them for the rest of their lives!
