My Project

I teach 4th grade reading and writing in Rome, Georgia. My students love to read, and they have almost read through my entire classroom library.

After getting to know my students, I learned that they love graphic novels and book series!

With your help, I can provide more book series and offer more graphic novels in my classroom. I have several students who are trying to learn how to read for enjoyment, and I think comic books are a perfect opportunity to help them learn how to enjoy reading. I am hoping they love the comic books, transition into graphic novels, and then eventually start reading chapter books.
