By this time of the year, the ESL kindergartners are ready to take on their sight word learning to the next level - sentence writing! What an exciting time to see such tremendous growth from my young learners.
These journals will chronicle the beginning stages of their paragraph writing, necessary for the next grade level.
To be able to see my students grow so much from the beginning of the year (letter names and sounds) to sentence/paragraph writing is always such a thrilling experience.
