The Mighty Mustard Seeds Love Choice Time!

My Students

"When you play, play hard. When you work, don't play at all" - Theodore Roosevelt. The Mighty Mustard Seeds are learning to adopt work ethics that reflects the famous quote by Theodore Roosevelt. They word hard; therefore, the Mighty Mustard Seeds deserve to play hard!

My students are called the MIGHTY Mustard Seeds.

They are a diverse group of students, who are eager to work together and grow together. They are excited and motivated to see personal growth in themselves, each other, and communal growth as a class.

My Project

Since the beginning of the school year, the Mighty Mustard Seeds have been working diligently to meet the common core standards. They come into school ready to learn and eager to excel. As their teacher, I love challenging them and pushing them to succeed for the future grades. Considering their consistent efforts, I give the MMS time to unwind and be creative through choice time. In choice time, they have a choice of playing games, participating in arts & crafts, and just having fun. I will use these materials to give the MMS more choices and more opportunities to explore their creativity.

This project will make a great impact in their learning and their experience in school.

This project will show them that the hard work and efforts they make is appreciated. Board games like Brain Quest and Mega Fun Card Math will make learning fun and engaging for the Mighty Mustard Seeds. In addition, the opportunity for the MMS to interact with each other will nourish their social development. Other items, like the magnet tiles and pattern blocks, will encourage their creativity.
